Bangalore government got support of a US based company to set up 50 megawatt (MW) of solar power plant with assistance from American Finance.
It will instantaneously, can make Bangalore South India’s biggest solar power generator. If this proposal by US based firm MAG one, a EPC Turnkey solution provider has offered to be of assistance to State generate renewable energy by ensuring 85 pc loan of the total cost from the financial institutes.
A Nandakishore, Regional Sales manager stated that the government should just invest Rs. 11 crore of the total Rs. 750 crore projects. He also stated that these projects are the symbol of President Barack Obama’s inventiveness to faucet green energy. However, due to global economic recession has failed the scheme in USA; the financials are extending it to India.
The first proposal was made to Uttar Pradesh to set up 20 mw of solar power. However, there was no response in the power desiccated North Indian state, he company decided to move to South.
Nandakishore mentioned that the northern parts of the State are quite feasible for the project and the Government can alleviate most of power crisis.
